“If you could change one thing about your house, what would it be?”

For me, that is a very easy question to answer. I would have a much larger kitchen with a walk-in pantry. I have wanted one of those ever since we bought the house we are in. I do have a nice set of pantry shelves on the stairs going down to the basement, but it’s not enough. For one thing, all the canned goods take up space. I can’t change my kitchen, but I can change the food items I am buying that not only make it better for the environment and storing purposes on my shelves, but these shelf stable cartons are better for my family.

I recieved the following Pacific Food items:

I was really surprised to see how many items you can get in a carton. Check it out for yourself! One of the things my family really likes to eat at the holidays is cranberry sauce. I hate buying it because every can I’ve see has high fructose corn syrup in it. The Pacific Foods Cranberry Sauce contains absolutely ZERO high fructose corn syrup. Sure it will be square slices instead of round, but does that really matter?

The Tetra Pak’s are also great for the environment:

  • Tetra Pak cartons are made of 70% paper, a renewable resource, from selectively harvested, re-grown trees that are FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council)
  • Cartons use 1/3 of the packaging compared to cans or even an egg!
  • Recycleable and in fact result in 60% less landfill waste than cans
  • Cartons are re-closable so you can use what you need and save the rest for later
