Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday. There are zero expectations. You just spend the day with family and friends, talking, and hanging out. Sometimes you even pass the time with games (at least in our family). I love hosting, but especially love hosting Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving foods are my favorite! If you are gluten free or have people attending your Thanksgiving that is, these gluten free Thanksgiving recipes are perfect for you!

Gluten Free Thanksgiving Appetizers
We tend to have too many appetizers at our holidays. Every year we say we are going to do less, but nevertheless, we always have a lot. Here are some gluten free thanksgiving appetizers that are easy to make:
The bacon wrapped smokies are my favorite and a crowd favorite. A close second is the Mexican corn dip! Try it…you won’t be disappointed!
Main Dish Recipes that are Gluten Free
Check and double check that the turkey you are getting is gluten free. Sounds crazy, but sometimes turkey’s are injected with a basting solution that contains gluten. Besides turkey, we also have ham on Thanksgiving!
The beer butt turkey was, by far, the best turkey I have ever made. My daughter asks, and expects that we will have ham every single Thanksgiving!

Gluten Free Side Dishes
The side dishes are another favorite of mine! If I haven’t said it yet, Thanksgiving foods are my favorite foods. Besides the mashed potatoes, corn, and stuffing (I buy boxed gluten free stuffing), these are some of my favorite side dishes.
For the butternut squash bake, be sure to choose a puffed rice cereal that is gluten free. Kelloggs Rice Krispies is NOT gluten free. I’ve made all three of these things and they are to die for!
Gluten Free Desserts
This year, since I had surgery a couple weeks ago, I am purchasing my gluten free desserts from a local gluten free bakery. I am getting a vegan chocolate roll and a lemon meringue pie. These are desserts I’ve made in the past that are really good.
Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
For the adorable turkey cupcakes, sub gluten free flour and gluten free Oreo cookies. I made this recipe before I knew I was allergic to gluten. The chocolate oatmeal cookies are one of the best things I make. Everyone always asks for me to make them!
