We have been on this Keto journey for quite awhile. One thing I kind of miss, is potatoes. The first time we did Keto, we really enjoyed air fryer radishes. Last night for dinner, I decided to make Keto loaded radishes. My thought process was, if I cut them to look like diced potatoes, fry them up, and add cheese and bacon, my kids would eat them. I mean, hello…bacon! Boy was I right! Both kids had two helpings! Even when I told them they were radishes and not potatoes, they still ate them! Success!

Low Carb Keto Loaded Radishes
Delicious recipe for Keto Loaded Radishes. This is the perfect faux potato recipe!
- 3 Cups Radishes diced
- 1 TBSP Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp Jarred Minced Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 Cup Crumbled Bacon
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheese of Choice
Dice your radishes. I cut mine in half and cut each half, in half again.
Heat your avocado oil in your cast iron skillet. Add the minced garlic and radishes. Sprinkle your salt, pepper, and onion powder on top. Cook the radishes for 15 minutes, or until desired tenderness.
Turn the heat down a little and add your shredded cheese and bacon on top. Cover and cook for about 5 more minutes to melt the cheese.
Keto Loaded Radishes
When I made these, I half expected my kids to hear that they are radishes and not eat them. Both kids devoured them! I was pretty impressed! While I will admit, I would love to have potatoes, these loaded radishes were a nice substitute for me. Sticking to Keto makes me feel so much better. I no longer feel like I want to fall asleep at 3 pm. The brain fog is gone. How I feel now feels so amazing, that I am willing to eat low carb and stay away from certain foods!
