Since finding my way back to the Keto diet, I have made some killer things for dinner. Last nights dinner was seriously in the top five. For real. This recipe is dirty Keto friendly (I’ll explain that more in a bit) and something your whole family will enjoy! Ranch pepperoncini chicken is the recipe that you definitely need to make tonight, whether you are following the Keto diet or not! It’s that good!

I’m Not Keto, Can I still Eat This?
Not following the Keto diet? No problem! Use a lower fat shredded cheese and you’re good to go. Or, use the full fat cheese. It tastes better and overall, this dish doesn’t have a ton of fat in it. It’s one of those Keto recipes where I know I have to bring fat into the meal in other ways. Regardless of the cheese you choose to use, this ranch pepperoncini chicken is amazing!
Ranch Pepperoncini Chicken
Delicious recipe for a Keto friendly ranch pepperoncini chicken. Full of flavor and absolutely healthy.
- 6-8 Thin Sliced Chicken Breasts
- 2 TBSP Ranch Seasoning
- 1 Jar Sliced Pepperoncini or Banana Peppers drained
- 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
Preheat your oven to 350°. Spray your casserole dish with cooking spray, if you desire (I forgot and it still turned out OK).
Place your chicken breasts in your casserole dish. Sprinkle 2 TBSP of Ranch seasoning on top.
Next add your shredded mozzarella cheese (save a tiny bit). Drain your sliced pepperoncini peppers and sprinkle the peppers overtop of all of the chicken. Finally top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes (or until your chicken is cooked through. Before removing from the oven, turn your broiler on high and broil for about 4-5 minutes (be sure to watch this step so you don't end up burning the top of your dish.
Are Pepperoncini Peppers and Banana Peppers the Same?
No…but…while not the same thing, they come from the same chili pepper family. So, if you are unable to find pepperoncini peppers sliced, then get banana peppers. The dish will turn out the same.
Why Is This Dirty Keto?
Very simply put…because I chose to use the Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning for this ranch pepperoncini chicken. While it totally fits Keto macros, it has ingredients that are not 100% Keto. However, for the sake of time and convenience, I am OK with using this seasoning and it has never affected me on my Keto journey. If you want a more strict Keto recipe, definitely sub in your own homemade, 100% Keto friendly, dry ranch seasoning! Either way works perfectly fine! For me, with soccer practices every night of the week, I needed something quicker and easier!
