My absolute FAVORITE thing in the world is peppermint bark. The other day I was at Sam’s Club and they were sampling peppermint bark and I was in heaven! A few years ago I made a Peppermint Bark Brownie Cheesecake and it was a crowd pleaser! Since Sam’s Club (and other stores) are starting to sell peppermint bark, then it is only appropriate to that you all should make this peppermint brownie bark dessert this holiday season!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Brownie Mix
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 2/3 Cup Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup Semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
  • 2 Candy Canes
  • 1 Cup White Chocolate Chips melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep the cookie sheet with the parchment paper.

  2. Combine the brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water into a mixing bowl. Using your electric mixer, mix well.

  3. Pour the mixture onto the prepared cookie sheet. Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips on top of the brownie batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

  4. Immediately remove from the oven. Sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top of the baked brownies.

  5. Set the brownies aside and allow to cool completely.

  6. Take your melted white chocolate and drizzle it over the cooled brownies.

  7. Set the brownies aside again to allow the white chocolate to cool. Once cooled, begin to break the brownies into large pieces.

Recipe Notes

*Feel free to use a gluten free brownie mix in place of a regular box mix.

Doesn’t this sound amazing?!?

Instead of crushing your candy canes yourself, save yourself the time and buy the bag of crushed peppermint candies. So worth it. Plus you get more than enough and it’s just another excuse to make more peppermint brownie bark dessert! Be sure to check out all the different peppermint recipes before you leave! They are delicious!

Perfect for the Holidays

This year I am hosting Thanksgiving. I don’t know what we are doing for Christmas, but the one thing I do know is that this dessert will be at each gathering, front and center. Mine will be gluten free, since I have to eat gluten free.

If you like peppermint and chocolate as much as I do, then you need to try these other chocolate peppermint desserts:

Peppermint Oreo Cupcakes

Peppermint Mocha Cupcakes

Double Chocolate Peppermint Crunch Cookies

Happy Holidays!
